Is your poll still "resume'-based"?

Let's look at the undefeateds:

Texas Tech & Bammer 1 & 2--no arguments; Tech running the gauntlet of Kansas/Texas/OkieState trumps the Tide's wins v. Clemson/UGA/LSU.

Utah---wins over Oregon State (who had vanquished the "Greatest Team Ever" the week before) and Top-20 TCU + undefeated = #3.
(Do I think Utah could beat Texas, UF, or Oklahoma? Of course not. But that's NOT what a resume' system is about, right?)

Boise State: no "signature" wins, and schedule is too weak to truly judge...so probably about right to effectively rank them just below the top one-loss teams.

BTW: looks like you were RIGHT after all about Iowa---I guess they ARE a much better team than their record! ;)

No.
Losing to Mississippi knocks them out of the poll.

Oh.

Wait a minute.

Never mind. My bad.

Agreed Y-G; they've played too many "cupcakes", and the only reason they'reranked as high as they are is because for the most part they've beem blowout wins. BUT - don't tell their fans this, unless you want to hear a lot of whining.

(FWIW I hope Utah is the non-BCS team getting the berth, and I'd love to see BS get upset before the end of the season as a reality check those smurf-turfers need.)
