Jason/SC Gator here... can't remember my login info... this look far more like the Tim Tebow we all know and love. When things fell apart he did what he does and got yardage instead of just trying to force pocket pass plays.
Also, will this dominating performance against a top 5 team mean you finally stop taking the Ole Miss loss so hard and rank our team?
I'm sure that the Gators will find their way back on Mergz blogpoll ballot this week. But let me ask a question, why does it matter? I mean we're only about halfway through the season. We've already made clear that each week is a new week in which the entire season is judged in its totality.
Seeing the Gators win like this only makes me take the Ole Miss loss even HARDER, knowing full well what this team was and is capable of. Is there any doubt that if that extra point goes through the Gators win in OT and are ranked #3 at the very least in the upcoming poll?
Gatorboys - I was late coming out of the game - I stayed to celebrate a bit. The group you ran into are nominal friends of mine (they types you don't even know their last names), local boys who live in Gainesville. (We must have had 50 people at the tailgate). It was pretty funny - they came right up to me and said someone was looking for me, and asked me if I was a "blogger", like I was some strange dude who sits around in his PJs writing about the Gators. The majority of my friends are well aware, though.
Dolfan, if we win out the rest of the season and wind up in a decent bowl game, will you STILL be bitching about the Ole Miss Loss? For Crissake, you're still crying over spilled milk - that, or you're acting like a one-trick pony.
SHIT HAPPENS. That, and we don't live in a perfect world.
We cleaned up our act and had a SUPER game against LSU - as far as I see it our kids were serious about this game and showed that they control their own destiny - they have what it takes to get ot atlanta in December if they want it bad enough. Sure the SEC East is theirs to lose, but it's theirs to WIN if they hunker down and play with the same intensity they did last Saturday.
Now put your damn crying towel down - you are tiresome!
I can’t say enough about my two favorite blogs Get the Picture and Saurian Sagacity. There are not two more consistently thought-provoking and analytical college football blogs on the internet.

Rare is the SMQ shout out for the sole purpose of shouting out, but even rarer is the high substantive quality of disinterested naysaying in progress at Saurian Sagacity, where poster Mergz is steadily blowing up notions of "National Championships" new and old... -Sunday Morning Quarterback

Gator Boys,
Mergz is a closet blogger I guess.

Maybe this team is just that schizophrenic.
Wow Dolfan good point. It'd be so nice to be undefeated and have the only REALLY tough games on our schedule be UGA and SEC champ game...
Oh well, at the fins are 2-2. GO WILD HOG FORMATION

As for the BlogPoll, of course we will be in it. It is going to be tough to decide who is number one though.
