Holy Cow! Ten years at Tennessee would give Butch the time to create the dynasty and recognition that's been missing from the Mountaineers program.
I didn't see anything posted at SI.com, nor did I hear any news on ESPNU this morning.
Hell, rumors are just that - speculation.

jj - that is why you have to come here, we have information before the big boys. the offer has been reported on a number of "lesser" known blogs.
the tennessee version of bullgators are now stating that their top 3 - davis, leach and gruden - have not been receptive to the overtures. they feel as though the next coach will come from a second group consisting of muschamp, kelly, brewster, gundy, calhoun, and kiffin.
I even read on another board that the Zooker was on the Vols' short list - can you believe that crap?
Gundy would SO rule. The next time a Vols thug--I mean, football player--commits a felony he can go before the media and scream, "HE'S A MAN!!! HE'S 20!!!" I can just picture it now :-)
