Saurian Sagacity Strikes It Rich!!!!

As the regular reader would know, assuming such a creature exists, we set up an e-mail account last week to collect jorts pix of SEC fans.

Yeah, I realize starting the "Jorts Project" right after the season ended wasn't the best timing. So, we've only got a couple of jorts so far, BUT we did strike it rich.......and we'd like to share the wealth with YOU!!!!!

Saurian Sagacity has received the following offer from a Mr. Wayne Robinson:

Good Day,

We wish to notify you again that you were listed as a beneficiary to
the total sum of £6,000,000.00 GBP (Six Million British Pounds) in the
codicil and last testament of the deceased. (Name now withheld since this is our second letter to you).

We contacted you because you bear the surname identity and therefore
can present you as the beneficiary to the inheritance.
We therefore reckoned that you could receive these funds as you are
qualified by your name identity. All the legal papers will be processed
upon your acceptance.

Upon your acceptance of this deal, we request that you kindly forward
to us your letter of acceptance, your current telephone and fax numbers
and a forwarding address to enable us file necessary LEGAL documents in
your name at our high court probate division for the release of the
fund in question.

Please contact me immediatley so that we can get this done immediately.
Kind regards,

Wayne Robinson
As surprised as we were that there was someone out there with the surname, Sauriansagacity, UF beat Ohio State for a MNC with a head football coach from Ohio, who worships Woody Hayes, was mentored by Earl Bruce and carries a buckeye in his pocket for luck; so stranger things have happened.

But we're not greedy, we don't want their stinkin' money. You, the readers can have it! That is, if I get it. I will commence correspondence with Mr. Robinson and keep you apprised of my progress.

Saurian Sagacity, not only educational and amusing, but showing you the money!!

Several people must have used the venerable Mr. Robinson to distribute their wealth. I have a letter to receive six million pounds from an unnamed relative. Any relatives I have would have had $US. Oh, wait...dear old Uncle Stormbringer...

When I saw the title of this entry my first thought was, "Holy shit, they bet on the Giants to win the Super Bowl!"

As usual, reality is much lamer than my thoughts. :-(

I admit some of the spam that arrives in email boxes is amusing....

Had I bet the Giants, I wouldn't have shared the dough.

And I'm just amazed that the Nigerian con artists found an oddly named e-mail address that had been open for 4 days and had never sent an e-mail.

The nigerian con man has a robot that scans web sites for working email addresses. You published that address and now it will forever be receiving spam.

A Gator alum in the San Francisco bay area placed a bet back in September on the Giants to win the Super Bowl - 40-1 odds! Unfortunately, she only bet $5
