That's a lot of arrows pointed at Ole Miss

No wonder why some Ole Miss fans called Ed Orgeron "Coach Zero".

No shit. My god, that's a lot of pointin'.

Quite a circle jerk.

UF beats UT, who beats UGA, who beats UK, who beats USC, who beats MSU, who beats Bama, who beats Arkansas, who beats LSU, who beast Auburn, who beat UF. That's everyone but Ole Miss.

So maybe there is a little merit to the "SEC beats up on itself" argument.

You left out Vandy, who could be inserted between UK and USC.

I'm pretty sure that's Vandy down in that lower right corner.

One point I want to make about the graphic - the SEC is NOT the place for a first-time head coach to receive "on-the-job" training and cut his first teeth. Ron Zook sure as hell didn't last, and Ed Orgeron a/k/a "Coach Zero" suffered the same fate - he was a decent recruiter but not a good gametime strategist; also, like the Zooker with "Fratgate" he had a major disciplinary issue in Year 3 that further hastened his demise (players stealing from hotels and ultimately being suspended).

Hate to rain on the parade of the Zook apologists (yeah, I said that tongue-in-cheek) but had we not fired the Zooker when we did we could very well have wound up in the same predicament as Ole Miss.

It takes the right stuff for a coach to succeed in the SEC; as of 2007 four coaches (Saban, Meyer, Fulmer and SOS) have National Championships to their credit. SOS and Meyer have coached Heisman winners. Les Miles could very well join the NC Club this January.

I really can't say the SEC "beats up on itself"; it's a very tough and competitive conference where only the strong survive.
