Here's the point

Received this comment from anonymous on the previous post:

Well, my whole point is that in the Division 1 Championship Subdivision, which is where Appalachian State plays, you don't need to impress a single pollster. You just go about your business and win your games. Appalachian State can perhaps win their third national championship in a row and they don't have to worry about lobbying or regional biases or former coaches voting for (or against) their former recruits or the media hype machine. They only have to worry about football.
