For some teams, the dream is already over.

For teams like Buffalo, Ball State, Louisiana Monroe, Southeast Louisiana, Iowa State, Utah State, Utah and yes, Mississippi State, their will be no national title in 2007.

We learned Mississippi State has a defense good enough to win some games.

And an offense so bad it will probably lose them all.

Sure LSU won 45 to 0.

But they look beatable right now.
