Well, the Big Ten is considering adding a 12th team. And doing so for apparently only the most noble of reasons. (h/t senator blutarsky at Get The Picture)

According to this USA Today article, if Notre Dame won’t come-a-willing, it looks like Rutgers or Syracuse would be just the New York / New Jersey flair the Big Ten needs.

This all goes to show once again the high esteem other conferences hold the Big East in. Looking for an added conference member or two?
