Another day, another bowl...

...another Pac Ten team gets whipped by mid-major conference.

Hawaii scored 41 on Arizona State with an incredible 680 yards of total offense.

In beating ASU by 7 points this year, USC managed a relatively meager 307 yards total offense. The game was at USC, no less.

In their two bowl losses so far, Pac Ten teams Oregon and Arizona State have surrendered only 1228 yards to a pair of mid-majors. Defense, defense, anyone, anyone?

Thanks again to UCLA for exposing USC.

And Mele Kalikimaka to all.

I'm so conflicted about Wednesday. Do I cheer for UCLA, who beat USC for us, and would prevent Blobby from getting another win in his illegitimate all-time record for a team that shouldn't even be in a bowl game. Or for the Noles, to continue demonstrating the worthlessness of the Pac10, and to prove that even a mediocre Floridian team is still a powerhouse compared to the rest of the country?

You never, ever root for FSU. You are not allowed to do that.

And I feel that UCLA deserves my support, if only because they exposed the fallacy that is the media love for USC, and also allowing for UF to make it to the Championship game. So root for the other team in LA, and enjoy.

Why would you ever root for FSU? FSU is the most hated team in Florida, as a UF grad it is unacceptable to EVER root for FSU. Why the hate for Miami, haven't really played them in the past 20 years, I believe only 3 times.

Actually we played Miami 4 times in the last 7 years and will play them again in 2008.

I live in Miami, in the belly of the beast. Let's leave it at that.

Also my sister is a FSU alumna.

I live in Miami as well went to UF because it was a better school for my major (which UF is in most majors) oh yeah and about 1/8th the price. I am only trying to figure out this hatred that exist between UM an UF fans that is greater than their hatred for FSU; a team that both schools play each year. I don't really hate the university of miami or its athletics but i do hate the "Alumni" that really don't show the support they should for their team, unless of course they are winning. So sorry about the sister being a FSU alumna, but they are still family (except one day a year).
