The game

This is a must-win game and good early test for the alleged improvement on defense...
Don't be fooled by the Canes apparent incompetence last season; they are still "Da U" and have some talented football players on their roster...
They will assuredly be fired up coming into this game and will put their guts on the line knowing they may very well not get another shot at UF again in their careers unless the two sides meet in a bowl game...
The Gators could easily come out of this weekend losers if the defense hasn't improved 100% from January 1...

Yeah, this is a must-win and I hope that Urban Meyer can pick up a win over another rival that he hasn't faced yet. After two losses to them, kindness of moRonZook (and the 2003 loss still pisses me off to this day; that clueless SOB squandered a decent lead on account of his incompetence and stupidity) we need to get even. True that it's a game we can't afford to take for granted; the "U" may not have been a factor these last two years but they've been rebuilding, and we need to be ready - not just for them, but for every game on our slate this upcoming season.
