I'm happy

This morning I'm very happy for Bobby Bowden. He went out a winner as a he deserved to. Say whatever you want about his coaching skills deteriorating over the last few years but he handled himself with dignity and represented UF's sister school with class.

Final thought, Urban Meyer can learn a little something from coach Bowden, namely how to keep football in perspective and balance work with family.

He never punished Dockett. I was rooting against him.

Bowden has nothing of value to teach Meyer.

Micky Andrews is a dirty, slimy coach, one of the worst to walk the sidelines.

Bowden tolerated him for decades. I wish them both ill.

There is not one thing that any Gator fan should want Urban Meyer to learn from Bobby Bowden. Period.

Sorry Henry, but this is a bit fluffy. You and I both know that Bobby Bowden's no saint. There are still a lot of skeletons in F$U's closet that will probably never come out, but unfortunately he leaves with a tarnished legacy. It's a moot point now that he's retired, but the NCAA upheld the penalties they placed on the SOW following the cheating scandal which include removal of wins from the seasons affected. F$U made their beds, now let them sleep in them.
